‘I’m as Australian as Ampol’ was more than a jingle. It was part of our culture. So when we were tasked with relaunching this iconic national brand, the responsibility weighed a ton.
But the insight that Australia is massive and we all travel far and wide without thinking twice gave the brand a role for Australians and had potential to make fuel more than a grudge purchase.
It’s not every day you get to relaunch a national icon with a national TV and OOH campaign. Nor do you get use one of the greatest songs of all time.
